“I have crossed oceans of time to find you”
Bram Stoker’s Dracula illustration for AMP’s 30x30 show this year celebrating all of the films of 1992.
I chose to do this in the style of an artist around the turn of the last century and Alphonse Mucha was the first that jumped out at me. I studied an awful lot of Mucha compositions and based this around a few in particular. I wanted to focus on the romance of the film as opposed to the horror.
Below you have ‘Vlad the Impaler’ and a map of London and then the roses from Lucy’s garden where much of the seduction in the film takes place and the old Count and Vlad up top.
Available to purchase for a LIMITED TIME ONLY between Monday 22nd September and Sunday 2nd October (ending at midnight) from AMP Website (SOLD OUT).
